I went to some interesting talks at the Children's Book council of Australia's conference. Drew this bird listening to the best talk of all - Shaun Tan!

Sorry it's been so much longer than 3 weeks - things have just been crazy busy! But I managed to find time to finish off a couple of littlies...

Medieval Insects!

Ha! I did it. Okay so I HAVE been dying of some flu for the past 2 days and incapable of much else, but finally I did a little series of something. Hope you like them!
P.S I will be in Japan for the next 3 weeks so I probably wont get to put up anything, but I'll try.
P.P.S Kumiko and the Dragon won the national Aurealis award on Saturday for children's short fiction. That's pretty cool. Hoorah.
